Continuous Feedback

ESG’s geotechnical solutions allow for continuous recording of all seismic activity.  Operators will have a continuous record of all seismic activity which they can analyze for trends to see if structural integrity is changing over time. This stream of seismic feedback can be cross correlated with other parameters to provide a robust data platform for advanced analysis.

Improve safety

ESG’s monitoring systems measure PPV and PPA to evaluate whether induced vibration levels (through operations or a seismic event) have exceeded the design thresholds of the structure, signaling the need for preventative maintenance.  The real time feedback can also monitor the seismicity in weaker areas of the structure or cavern to identify areas of risk.  Such information can be used as an advance warning and operations can be adjusted to ensure safety and structural integrity.  

Optimize Operations

Microseismic and vibration (PPV and PPA) information can be used to enhance operational performance.  The stream of information can be linked to operational activity to create a better understanding of the impact operations are having on the structure.  Operations can be adjusted in response to this information to enhance performance and reduce costs.
