ESG is currently recruiting one sales professional to manage sales and business development activities for our Mining and Geotechnical Markets out of our Kingston Ontario headquarters.

Job Description

The Mining/Geotechnical Account Manager/Business Development position will initially be located in ESG’s headquarters in Kingston Ontario.  The individual will be responsible for sales and business development of ESG’s Mining and Geotechnical-related microseismic products and services within the North American Market.  Primary responsibilities will include:
•    Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities within Canada and the USA
•    Managing, servicing and growing existing client relationships within Canada and the USA.
•    Developing and implementing sales and marketing plans to support the growth and adoption of ESG’s microseismic technologies in Mining and Geotechnical markets

This position will initially be based in Kingston and may relocate to other parts of Canada or the USA.

Qualifications and Experience

•    5-10 years in technical sales relating to mining and geotechnical operations. Preference will be given to candidates with geophysical/engineering related technical sales
•    B.Sc./M.Sc./PhD. in a field relating to mining or geotech
•    Understanding of mining and/or geotechnical applications (i.e. dams, bridges, tunnels, caverns).
•    Successful track record of growing market share within a geographic region
•    Demonstrated aptitude in understanding and solving complex technical issues
•    Must be willing to travel
•    Must be eligible to work in Canada
•    Candidates from the USA will be considered as well
